I purchased the 1972 Chouinard catalog from an ice/rock climber in Pennsylvania. The catalog was purchased in the 1972/1973 time frame from "Nippenose Equipment Co." of Williamsport, Pennsylvania for a dollar. He bought the catalog as a teenager, and at some point in time, either he or someone else retraced the images on the cover with a ball point pen as well as making some other "doodles" on the cover. This is the only part of the catalog (except the price list) that has been modified.
