I wish I understood the belaying techniques of the time. Also, some miscellaneous information on keeping the rope clean and some editorializing on the length of ropes.
Page 29: Information on webbing and a discussion of webbing knots. The recommended knot for tying webbing into a loop is the Grapevine knot - over the Ring Bend.
